To prepare for the making of our own horror films, we watched some as research. My favourite horror film, and the one that has inspired me the most in the creation of one, isEvil Dead 2.Directed by Sam Raimi(director of the Spiderman trilogy, and the recent horror film "Drag me to hell") Evil Dead 2 is a horror comedy film released in 1987. The film tells the story of Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) and his fight against an army of the undead, known as deadites. I like this film because it doesn't take itself too seriously, with the special effects being very over the top. The film includes a variety of interesting shots and camera angles, many of which Raimi went on to use in his future work.
This is one of my favourite scenes of the movie. I like it because it includes some interesting camera shots (Including the POV shot of the hand) and special effects, and also the style of acting played by Bruce Campbell.
